MLee Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patent care and serving as a resource in the therapy department.

Description:

Occupational therapy (OT) is an allied health profession that involves the therapeutic use of everyday activities, or occupations, to treat the physical, mental, developmental, and emotional ailments that impact a patient's ability to perform daily tasks. The responsibilities of Physical Therapist include (but are not limited to):

• Evaluating a patient's condition and needs
• Developing treatment plans to address a patient's needs and help them meet specific goals
• Assessing a patient's home and/or work environment and recommending adaptations to fit the patient's needs and improve independence
• Training patients to use special equipment
• Assessing and documenting progress for evaluation, billing, and reporting purposes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or high in Occupational Therapy or related discipline
• Current state License as an Occupational Therapist
• Current CPR certification
• One (1) year Pediatric experience in home health, acute care, or out-patient setting preferred
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
