CT Technologists at MUSC play a critical role in capturing detailed cross-sectional images using cutting-edge CT technology, including networked CT units, dedicated protocol support, and the only photon counting CT in South Carolina. As a CT technologist at MUSC, you will be aiding in diagnosing and monitoring various medical conditions, collaborating closely with other care teams to ensure high-quality patient care in a dynamic medical environment.

Job Description

Utilize all CT resources to perform high quality CT examinations on entire patient population (neonate through geriatrics) for interpretation by a physician.

Additional Job Description

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations :

Education : Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.

Experience : 0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience, at least 1 year of X-Ray experience.

Required Registration / Certification :

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R), required.
• ARRT CT Registration must be obtained within 1 year in this position .
• Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required .
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required , either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR / AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
