The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to join our Firm. This position will be based in our New York, Chicago, or Washington D.C. office (hybrid). In this role, you will be responsible for advising on the most effective ways to attract, assess and onboard talent and develop the recruitment team. You will develop direct recruitment strategies and, where needed, utilize recruitment agencies to ensure we attract and retain top talent. You will oversee the on-boarding and orientation of new hires to ensure they have a positive and comprehensive integration into the firm. Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Manages the business services recruitment team to deliver an effective service, acting as a role model of best practice.
- Advises hiring managers on recruitment strategies, utilizes various sources to market vacancies, attract and assess talented candidates.
- Screens resumes, schedules and conducts interviews.
- Utilizes the applicant tracking system and refers qualified applicants to the appropriate hiring manager.
- Leverages data and analytics to implement tactics aligned with our hiring strategy.
- Proactively seeks feedback from hiring managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting strategies and implementation. Likewise, develop feedback mechanisms from candidates to ensure we drive a leading and positive candidate experience.
- Facilitates the offer and on-boarding process for new hires, including creating offer letters, reviewing background check results.
- Works to enhance the recruitment service to the business through upskilling hiring managers on recruiting practice and using systems and technology to make our service easy to access and efficient.
- Develop direct and agency sourcing channels to continually build a pipeline of quality candidates, including employer branding and recruitment campaigns.
- Ensures recruitment efforts are in compliance with EEO and OFCCP federal regulations.
- Assists with managing finances for the department and keeps within budget.
- Ensures current knowledge of Firm policies and practices and current knowledge of industry trends and continued professional development for business services professionals.
- Monitors time, attendance, and expense reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with Firm policies.
- Effectively utilizes the Firm's performance management process to communicate performance expectations, monitor performance, coach employees, and manage unsatisfactory performance.
- Oversees employee's work performance and provides guidance in the resolution of problems.
- Recommends guidelines and practices to promote efficiency, effectiveness, excellent customer service and improved employee relations, in alignment with the Firm's Core Values.
- Engages in strategic (i.e., long-range) planning by developing departmental goals and supporting objectives for assigned department(s).
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others.
- Manages Firm resources responsibly.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Current knowledge of industry best practices, trends and techniques.Knowledge of federal, state and local labor and regulatory requirements.Knowledge of relevant Firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems.Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.Demonstrates close attention to detail.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills.Ability to effectively lead and supervise others.Ability to administer Firm policies and procedures.Ability to handle multiple projects, shifting priorities and delegate effectively.Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team.Ability to use discretion and exercise independent and sound judgment.Flexibility to travel and adjust hours necessary to meet operating and business needs.Education and Experience

Salary Details
$200,000 - $220,000
