Clinic Medical Assistant (MA-C)

The Clinic Medical Assistant (CMA) is responsible for procedures necessary to support the provider to whom they are assigned with the goal of providing excellent patient care. Daily tasks include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, assisting with medical procedures, administering injections and medications, verifying and updating patient medical records for completeness, refilling medications, notifying patients of test results, and other assigned duties within the CMA scope of practice. This position may float to support other KVH clinics.

Wage range starts at $21.28 / hour and goes up to $37.88 / hour. Actual wage will be determined based on previous years' of applicable experience. FTE : 1.0 = 40 hours / week. This position is benefits eligible. Union Status : This is a non union covered position.

What is required...

• Graduate of an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program & currently licensed in the State of Washington.
• Current BLS card for Healthcare Provider (maintenance required)
• Previous exposure to an Electronic Medical Records system
