What You'll Do

• Direct and coordinate nursing care, overseeing both licensed and unlicensed personnel.
• Engage patients and families in care planning and discharge processes.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient care plans.
• Assist in defining standards of excellence for patient care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the orientation of new staff members.
• Act as a resource for hospital and departmental policies for nursing staff.
• Participate in daily operational activities to ensure a safe environment.
• Provide input to the Nurse Manager on unit needs and participate in committees.
