American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Burn ICU for a travel nursing job in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Burn ICU (BICU) night shift position requiring a CT or compact RN license and at least two years of specialty experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is on the Burn ICU (BICU) unit
  • Night shifts with a 3x12 hour schedule, 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
  • May care for both burn and non-critical patients on the unit
  • Assignment is for 13 weeks
  • Free parking provided at main campus
  • Nurses may be assigned to both burn and non-critical patients as needed
  • Pre-employment modules must be completed prior to start and annually depending on specialty
  • Facility will auto approve up to 7 days of requested time off (RTO)
  • Participation in disaster or emergency response activities may be required
  • First-time travelers are eligible if all other requirements are met

  • Active CT or compact RN license is required
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent Burn ICU or related experience
  • 1 reference required for consideration
  • Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
  • COVID vaccine and booster required unless medical or religious exemption is approved
  • Applicants must live more than 75 miles from the facility
  • Return staff must have been gone for at least 2 years to be eligible
