Supply Chain Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead planning and supply chain operations at a high-performance manufacturing facility specializing in precision castings, superalloy components, and complex machining processes. The Supply Chain Manager will oversee forecasting, scheduling, inventory management, and cross-functional alignment to ensure operational efficiency and on-time delivery while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of supply chain and planning professionals.
- Own the master scheduling process and ensure alignment of orders, plant capacity, materials, and labor.
- Collaborate with customer service to ensure order accuracy, on-time delivery, and issue resolution.
- Manage backlog, schedule reconciliation, and forecast updates.
- Partner with procurement to monitor supplier performance, mitigate risks, and ensure material readiness.
- Support new product introductions with material planning and cross-functional alignment.
- Deliver KPIs including on-time delivery (OTD), forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and cost reduction.
- Communicate planning outcomes to leadership and escalate systemic risks as needed.
- Standardize planning tools, templates, and escalation processes.
