Electronics Tester II - Shortened Job Posting
Schedule : Mon-Thu, 5 : 00 a.m.-3 : 30 p.m.
Pay Rate : $23 an hr
Summary :
Hands-on role testing, troubleshooting, and repairing locomotive electronic devices. Includes inspecting components, identifying failures, replacing parts, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities :
Perform functional tests and basic board / harness repairs (including soldering).
Load software and prepare devices for testing.
Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, generators, etc.
Read schematics and follow technical drawings, SOPs, JSAs, and test procedures.
Inspect product quality and complete daily work orders.
Maintain calibrated equipment and follow IPC-610, ESD, and 5S practices.
Keep work area clean, follow safety rules, and support cross-training.
Requirements :
Preferred : Associate degree or equivalent military / work electronics experience.
1+ year in electronics testing, troubleshooting, or assembly.
Ability to read schematics; basic soldering skills; experience with PC-based test software.
Physical / Environment :
Fine motor work, lift up to 50 lbs., distinguish small components.
On-site, temperature-controlled production environment.
Pay Details : $23.00 per hour
