• Offered salary and other compensation :

We offer a salary of $110,000 per year. Additionally, we offer :

• 4-day weekends off for Memorial Day, Labor Day and Thanksgiving
• At least 3 days off for Christmas and at least 2 days off for New Year's Eve

• Your schedule :
• Mon, Tues, Thurs, Friday 8 : 30-5pm, Wed 8 : 30am-12pm.
• Your mission & responsibilities as Associate Veterinarian :

As an associate vet, you will uphold our mission statement in all you do. Client education is very important, from teaching first-time pet owners to explaining complicated diagnoses and treatments.

• You will examine and diagnose patients and prescribe the appropriate medications or treatments.
• At our practice we also perform spays and neuters on dogs and cats as well as soft tissue surgeries. You will be expected to participate in these as well.
• We have an ultrasound machine, electrocautery and cold therapy laser. You will be trained on all the equipment to be productive and fully use it.
• Daytime emergencies do come in, on occasion, and all vets are expected to handle these appropriately. At times, if we cannot provide the necessary treatment, emergencies are referred to larger clinics in Panama City Beach.
• You will also help train new staff and help continually train current staff as part of the team so each person can continue to grow and improve.
• Required experience and qualifications :
• We require graduation from an accredited veterinary school. Experience is great but not required.
• Preferred soft skills :

• Ability to maintain good record keeping
