5 Days a week, 8H shifts, 7a-5p.

Position Description :

Phlebotomists will be utilized for the outpatient lab drawing stations at Exeter. Must have outpatient experience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform venipuncture, finger sticks, and other specimen collection procedures safely and efficiently.
• Verify patient identity using two identifiers and ensure accurate labeling of all specimens.
• Collect, process, and prepare specimens for transport to main laboratory or reference labs.
• Enter orders, test codes, and patient information accurately into the system. Maintain phlebotomy supplies and ensure cleanliness and organization of the outpatient collection area.
• Follow all infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols. Respond to patient inquiries courteously, providing clear explanations of procedures.

Qualifications : Education : High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program. Experience : 2+ years of experience required, preferably in an outpatient setting. Experience with EPIC.

Licensure / Certification :

Current certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (e.g., ASCP, NHA, AMT, or equivalent) . BLS-AHA.

Must be separated from BILH for 6+ months in order to be considered (perm, per diem, contract).
