Store Associate

Position Overview

The Cashier is responsible for accurately and efficiently checking out customer's orders, while providing attentive and friendly customer service.

Job Description

You will contribute by :

• Providing exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintaining proper shelf, cooler, and case conditions such as stocking, cleaning and rotating products within the store.
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the department's cases, prep area, floors, and coolers.
• Minimizing shrink by ensuring all price discrepancies are resolved immediately.
• Ensuring all equipment is treated / maintained properly.
• Following all food safety and sanitation procedures including process, preparation and packaging of food in accordance with company policies and all Federal, State, and Local regulations.
• Assisting workers in other departments when the needs of the business require.
• Collaborating with other departments when inter-departmental or storewide sales promotions warrant.
• Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Position Titles include but are not limited to the following :

Environment : Store : Grocery (50F to 90F)

Skills :

Years Of Experience : 0-2 : Some experience in a retail store preferred
