Sitter Wanted - Passionate Sitter Needed In Clifton Park

We require occasional care at our house in Halfmoon for a 2 year old girl & 4 year old boy during various hours (mostly evenings). Major plus if you have your own car and can drive them on occasion even if we have to juggle our own car seats in and out of your vehicle.

1) We would like coverage for 2 nights a month (to start) for weekend evenings (approx 5 or 6pm-10 : 30pm).

2) We have Aug 1st - 4th where late afternoon coverage would be needed (meet at our house at 5pm to start dinner until mom arrives home around 6 : 30pm) and 3 weeks in September (4 or 5 full days / week) where we will not have child care and require daytime assistance (approx 8 : 30am-5 : 30pm). We can flesh out more details via text / email.

3) August 13 we would like to hire someone to be primarily in charge of them at an event in Saratoga, and maybe to bring them home in the evening and get them to bed until we get home.

Both children are fun, high energy and love to play together or on their own but enjoy when grown ups join in the most. We have no pets. The 4 y / o has dog allergies. All meals would be prepped in advance, including your meals if you wish.

4 y / o : A very picky eater. He is fully potty trained and will wear pull up to bed. He loves legos, Spiderman, playing in the backyard and pretend sword fights. He can be left on his own for extended periods (inside) as long as he is given instructions (quiet time in your room / watching a movie / etc). We try to get him to take a nap after lunch but not always successfully.

2 y / o : Will eat almost anything. Has not started potty training yet. She is a fearless one and is always in a good mood. She loves Baby Shark (sorry) and to color. She has a color station where she will play for 45 - 60 mins on her own. We don't typically leave her unattended for more than a couple mins. Takes 1 nap / day after lunch.

House rules : While they are allowed to watch tv, we prefer not to have them glued to the tv for extended periods of time. The stairs have gates which are closed based on where the 2 y / o is.

Bed time is around 745 - 8 and they tend to stay awake in their rooms alone for 30 or so mins afterwards until they fall asleep. The 4 y / o may need some friendly reminders to go to bed some nights.

After an interview via zoom / in person, we would like to have you over for at least one day while we are there to introduce you to the kids and have them become comfortable with you (paid time of course).
