Accounting Clerk / Bookkeeper (Part-Time or Full-Time)

We're four fast-growing auto repair companies on the move, and we're looking for a hands-on Accounting Clerk / Bookkeeper to keep our finances sharp and our operations humming. This isn't just another desk job — you'll have your fingerprints on everything from accounting and HR to process improvements that actually make a difference. You'll work directly with the President / Owner and collaborate with shop managers and staff across multiple locations.
What You'll Do
Handle all bookkeeping duties in QuickBooks Desktop (2+ Years of Experience) — from payroll and payables to bank reconciliations and reports that actually tell a story.
Keep an eye on inventory and turn numbers into insights with operational analysis and reporting.
Build, maintain, and organize spreadsheets and digital filing systems that make accountants everywhere proud.
Partner with shop managers, counter staff, and vendors to make sure everything (and everyone) stays in sync.
Spot opportunities for better systems, smarter workflows, and more efficient operations — then help make them happen.
Maintain tidy, accurate records — both physical and digital.
What You Bring
A strong command of QuickBooks Desktop , including payroll, taxes, reconciliations, and bill payments.
Comfort with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) , Gmail , Dropbox , and CRM tools (bonus points if you've used RO Writer ).
A knack for spreadsheets — the kind that make sense to anyone who opens them.
Serious attention to detail , stellar organization , and relentless follow-through .
Clear, confident communication skills , written and verbal.
A reputation for being trustworthy, self-motivated, and dependable .
Experience in the auto repair world is a plus — but we're happy to teach the right person.
