A Fire Control Specialist plays a critical role in coordinating and integrating weapons operations. This involves processing and relaying tactical battlefield information to support joint fires and mission-based operations.

This position requires the ability to integrate information from multiple users and sensors through various networks, as well as operate computer and database systems.

Soldiers in this role will typically enlist as Field Artillery Soldiers and be assigned to a specific Field Artillery job based on available Army opportunities and skills assessed during Basic Combat Training.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen : Required for this position.
• Age : Must be between 17 to 34 years old.
• Education : High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Tattoo Guidelines : Meet the Army's tattoo guidelines.
• Background Check : No major law violations or medical concerns allowed.
• Security Clearance : Eligible for a Secret Security Clearance.
