Staff Accountant

Job Title : Staff Accountant

Reports To : Controller

Summary :

The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting the full accounting cycle across multiple physician practices. This role focuses on accurate financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and timely month-end closings while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations, analyze variances, and correct discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for assigned physician practices.
• Maintain and update the general ledger for 10-15 practice entities.
• Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team to ensure timely invoice processing and payments.
• Organize and maintain accounting records, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and assist with special projects as needed.
