The Business Development Officer (BDO) is a key role in Front Range State Bank’s efforts to expand business development efforts along Colorado’s Front Range. The candidate must be located within the Front Range of Colorado. The primary focus of this role will be to establish referral sources for consumer real estate loans, which include mortgages, home equity lending, construction lending, bridge loans, land loans, and more. The BDO role will also be expected to support the bank’s efforts to increase deposit volume along the Front Range.

Education / Experience :
BDO candidates should have expertise in some area of consumer real estate lending, but expertise across all consumer real estate loan types is not expected.
Minimum 3 years of experience in an MLO, Bank Officer, Business Development Officer, or similar role is strongly preferred.
A bachelor's degree in a financial services-related field is preferred but not required.
Language Ability :
Ability to understand complicated situations and communicate them in a succinct and efficient manner. Must be fluent (reading / writing / speaking) in English. The ability to read, write, and speak Spanish is preferred but not required.
Math Ability :
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, ratios, percentage, basis points, and proportions.
Reasoning Ability :
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Able to adjust quickly to different work situations; remain composed under pressure and in stressful situations. Team player who must embrace change and see change as opportunity. Must be willing to express and support management’s ideas to affected staff.
Computer Skills :
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the ability to adapt to new technological systems such as an LOS, PPE, and POS. Knowledge of Word and Excel is preferred but not required.
Certificates and Licenses :
Existing NMLS registration / licensing preferred.

Benefit Package Offered : (Subject to Eligibility Requirements)
Salary Range : $65,000 - $350,000 including base salary and commission
