Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to provide orthopedic rehabilitation in our outpatient setting. This position involves assessing, diagnosing, and implementing individualized treatment programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance patient performance.

Work Hours : Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
Compensation : $90,000 - $110,000 per year + benefits
Patient Volume : 1-2 patients per hour
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive musculoskeletal assessments, including strength, flexibility, and range-of-motion testing
- Design and modify treatment programs tailored to post-operative rehabilitation, injury prevention, and pain management
- Apply joint mobilization, soft tissue manipulation, and myofascial release techniques to restore function
- Educate patients on postural alignment, ergonomic corrections, and movement efficiency to prevent re-injury
- Work closely with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, and pain management specialists for coordinated care
- Maintain comprehensive patient records and progress notes using Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Participate in weekly case review meetings to discuss complex patient cases and optimize treatment strategies
Requirements
Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited programValid Maine Physical Therapist License2+ years of experience in outpatient orthopedics (preferred but not required)Strong knowledge of manual therapy techniques, post-surgical protocols, and injury preventionExperience working with athletes, weekend warriors, and active individualsPassion for evidence-based treatment and continuous learningAbility to motivate, educate, and empower patients toward recoveryBenefits
