Office Lead
Responsible for the organization and coordination of office operations, and to facilitate service center efficiencies in order to meet company goals and directives.
Critical Job Functions :
- Implement office policies and procedures, ensure office policies and procedures are being adhered to.
- Implement procedural and policy changes to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage multiple administrative and operational job functions through various reports and staff members.
- Delegation and monitoring of operational and administrative tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory.
- Review and approve office supply acquisitions.
- Support local sales and operations.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals as well as customer specific needs and requirements.
- Training, education, and development of staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Receives very general guidance with respect to overall objectives; work is usually quite independent of others; operates within division or department policy guidelines using independent judgment in achieving assigned objectives.
Job Requirements :
A general business degree and or previous industry experience; or 3-5 years office management related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skill essential in this position.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Communicates internally with all office staff, and externally with service centers, and customers.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employers of organization, primary focus on sales group and service center operations.Specific industry or position skills.Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.Preferred knowledge of AS / 400 & McLeod.Experience supervising the selection, training, development and appraisal of personnel, and work assignments.Average typing, filing, and ten key skills.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.Ability to prioritize tasks.Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Ability to prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments.Physical Demands and Work Environment :
