Sentara Obici Hospital is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Resource Pool team on the Part-Time Day & Night Shift . This flexible and rewarding role is ideal for an experienced nurse who enjoys variety professional growth and being part of a supportive mission-driven healthcare team.

As a Resource Pool RN youll have the opportunity to provide expert nursing care across multiple departments building diverse clinical experience while making a difference in the lives of patients throughout the hospital. Youll deliver safe high-quality and compassionate care guided by Sentaras standards of practice and professional performance.

Responsibilities :

Provide competent patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process (assessment planning implementation and evaluation).

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated high-quality care.

Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and adaptability in a variety of units and patient populations.

Participate in health teaching patient education and care planning.

Promote ethical evidence-based and culturally congruent nursing practice.

Support quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive team environment.

Qualifications :

ASN (BSN or MSN preferred).

Valid RN license in the state of Virginia (or compact state).

BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Specialty certifications / training as applicable by clinical area :

Critical Care / IMCU : ACLS within 1 year of hire.

Emergency Care : ACLS & PALS (or ENPC) within 1 year of hire.

Oncology Care : ONS / ONCC or Sentara-approved Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Card within 6 months of hire.

Womens Care / Perinatal : NRP within 6 months of hire.

Inpatient Pediatrics : PALS within 6 months of hire.
