Job description

We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Account Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team in West Hills, CA .

Job Summary :

The Account Manager will operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to their assigned channel partner account(s). This includes implementing and executing plans for leveraging the e-commerce marketplace to grow the business, focusing on sales trends, promotional opportunities, and marketing activities. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and ambitious individual looking to be a part of a dynamic and collaborative team. The Account Manager may receive regular daily instructions from Senior Account Manager(s).

WHAT DOES THIS ROLE INVOLVE?

Essential Job Duties :

  • Develop and maintain a close relationship with the platform’s account manager and leadership teams.
  • Drive sales through various online platforms, dependent upon assigned channels
  • Set monthly and annual sales targets at the item level, that demonstrate forecasted demand and reflect subjective insights from the platform team.
  • Influence priorities and processes executed by the overseas Sales Team, to ensure effort is spent on high value activities.
  • Communicate platform growth objectives to the Product Manager team, to ensure ordering and inventory management adequately reflects sales targets.
  • Model and implement CTV prices that maximize both unit and profit dollars.
  • Create and execute promotions to increase product visibility
  • Consistent reporting on sales analytics and metrics
  • Identify and grow opportunities with managed accounts maintaining a competitive advantage with content, product, pricing, promos, and reviews
  • Identifying opportunities to increase sales
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to channel needs and objectives to grow sales and meet margin requirements
  • Implement and execute strategic plan for leveraging the e-commerce marketplace to grow the business, focusing on sales trends, promotional opportunities, and marketing activities
  • Track weekly performance metrics and implement strategy to prove sales from both channel and SKU level
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Merchandising teams to create compelling online product listings, advertisements and promotions
  • Other duties as assigned by manager and / or executive management.

What are we looking for in a candidate?

Experience and Education Requirements :

  • 1-3 years in successful track record in business development / e-commerce platform sales with channels such as Target, Costco, Walmart, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required :

  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Demonstrated a strong sense of integrity

  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and t be self-motivated
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task ,and must be able to work under pressure.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Bilingual Mandarin a plus
  • Equipment Knowledge :

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint);
  • Proficient computer skills

  • Frequently see periods of prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling

  • Occasionally lift and / or carry up to 25 lbs
  • Occasionally stand, walk, squat, kneel, twist at the waist, use hands for fine manipulation, pushing & pulling, reaching above and below shoulder level
  • Occasionally climb stairs to reach second-floor office locations
  • Occasionally travel by airplane and / or automobile to U.S. domestic destinations
  • Work Environment

  • Work performed indoors in an office facility with temperatures subject to normal environmental conditions.
  • Certain office locations are adjacent to warehouse facility spaces with temperatures subject to normal environmental conditions.
  • Noise level of the office environment is low.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided.
  • WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

    Competitive Pay - The U.S. base annual salary range for this full-time position is up to $72,000 per year. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
