About the role

Credible is looking for a Managing Counsel for a full-time position. This is a "hands on" role. The selected candidate will report to our SVP – Legal and Compliance and manage one or more lawyers

In this role you will :

• Advise our various business teams with respect to a wide range of legal, regulatory and contractual matters. You will be a primary point of contact for :
• managing, structuring, drafting and negotiating a high volume of commercial agreements with a variety of consumer financial services, technology and online marketing companies; and
• advising supported business teams with respect to relevant financial services and FinTech laws and regulations, data privacy and security laws, and general commercial contracting principles
• Identify and explain non-standard terms and associated risks to relevant business stakeholders, interpret and advise on contract requirements, obligations and risk exposure
• Utilize existing systems and applications for creating, editing, storing, tracking, administering and managing new and amended contracts; and

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay ranges for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location, are listed below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical / dental / vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.

For high cost of labor markets such as but not limited to New York City and San Francisco :

$170,000—$200,000 USD

For all other US locations :

$142,000—$180,000 USD
