VMware ESXi Engineer

A company is looking for an ESXi Engineer to support a hybrid cloud infrastructure modernization project.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and document the current VMware environment, identifying areas for improvement

Optimize and validate a vSphere 8 deployment on VxRail, ensuring alignment with Azure VMware Solution (AVS)

Lead patching and reboot strategies across a VxRail cluster while maintaining system stability and performance

Required Qualifications

Proven experience with VMware ESXi and vSphere 7 / 8 in enterprise environments

Hands-on knowledge of Dell VxRail systems and integrated deployments

Experience with patching and rolling reboots in clustered VMware environments

Deep understanding of disaster recovery planning and hybrid cloud strategies

Experience in maintaining technical documentation and knowledge transfer to client teams
