Join Qualicare as an HR Consultant and play a pivotal role in shaping our workplace culture and employee experience. In this dynamic position, you will support our teams ensuring our HR practices align with our mission to provide exceptional care and support.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and maintain employee handbooks, policies, and procedures in compliance with federal, state (including California), and local employment laws
• Ensure accurate and complete employee documentation, including personnel files, onboarding records, and disciplinary actions
• Support implementation of required California trainings and policy acknowledgements (e.g., harassment prevention, workplace safety, retaliation prevention)
• Recommend and implement HR best practices to reduce compliance risk and improve operational consistency
• Advise management on employee relations, performance management, and corrective action processes
• Support training and effective implementation of HR policies and best practices
• Recommend and implement HR process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk
• Provide strategic guidance to leadership on HR compliance, risk mitigation, and workforce management

Work Structure:

• Primarily remote, with occasional in-person meetings as needed
• Part-time schedule of approximately 1020 hours per week

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in HR consulting or generalist roles.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.) is a plus.
