Job descriptionInpatient coverage at a Level 2 trauma center Practice supported by 2 PAs / NPs Patient population is adult 24-hour call coverage Flexible scheduling, choose the weekends that work for you Friday through Sunday shifts General Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgery IP call cases Coronary artery bypass surgery, on and off pump Bypass procedures including aorto femoral / iliac and fem-pop Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in Cardiovascular / Thoracic Surgery Active ATLS certification Minimum of 24 months of recent experience Requires an active Texas license or IMLC Letter of Qualification Credentialing support is provided The process takes approximately 60 days to complete All travel and lodging are provided for this assignment Adjust your work schedule to accommodate personal commitments, hobbies, or pursuits outside of medicine, promoting a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle. Weekend Cardiovascular Surgery Call in Texas - IMLC Eligible
A respected Level 2 trauma center in Texas has an ongoing locums need for a Cardiovascular Surgeon to provide weekend call coverage. This is a great opportunity for supplemental work that fits around your existing schedule.
