Job descriptionMedical Terminology : Understanding of clinical terms and workflow. Compliance Knowledge : Familiarity with HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, and state regulations. Credentialing & Licensing : Oversee provider credentialing and renewals. Risk Management : Identify and mitigate clinical and legal risks. Track expenses, revenues, and profitability. Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) : Knowledge of billing, coding (CPT, ICD-10), insurance claims, and collections. Data Analysis : Use practice management software reports to make informed deci EMR / EHR Systems : Experience with systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks. Practice Management Software : Scheduling, billing, and patient records. Basic IT Troubleshooting : Ability to navigate minor tech issues and coordinate with IT. Patient Relations : Handle patient concerns with empathy and professionalism. Staff Communication : Clear communication of goals, feedback, and expectations. Physician Liaison : Act as a bridge between physicians and administrative staff. Please note that this is not an all-inclusive list of the responsibilities of the position. Work experience as a Medical Office Manager (3+ years strongly preferred) Proficiency using software applications including EMR and practice management software, Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks Understanding of HIPAA requirements, OSHA regulations and Infection Control Standards Knowledge of human resources management practices and procedures, and laborlaws Knowledge of medicalbilling Knowledge of regulations related to commercial insurance, Medicaid, andMedicare Experience in accounting and administrative practices and procedures Excellent written and verbal communicationskills Ability to work independently, multitask and perform well in stressful situations Strong interpersonal, customer service, time management and prioritization skills Travel required between Aurora, CO and Lone Tree, CO. We are seeking an energetic, dedicated person to fill a Practice Manager position at our nephrology practices in Aurora and Lone Tree, CO.
The primary responsibilities of this position are :

- Team Leadership : Ability to manage physicians, nurses, front office, and billing staff.
- Conflict Resolution : Handle interpersonal issues diplomatically.
- Strategic Planning : Develop and implement short- and long-term goals.
