Project Engineer – Life Science & Cleanroom Construction &##128205; Metric is proud to be representing one of the largest cleanroom and life science construction firms in the United States , supporting the search for a driven Project Engineer to join their expanding team at their Philadelphia headquarters .

Our client is a nationally recognized leader in pharmaceutical, biotech, and advanced manufacturing construction , known for delivering technically complex, highly controlled environments. They’re growing rapidly and investing heavily in developing their next generation of project leaders.

As a Project Engineer , you’ll play a key role supporting major cleanroom and life science builds across the U.You’ll work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure seamless project execution — from design coordination and procurement to quality control and documentation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career (1–3 years of experience) who’s eager to grow within a best-in-class construction organization known for innovation, precision, and career progression.

Support the planning and execution of cleanroom, lab, and life science construction projects.

Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and field staff to maintain project schedules.

Perform site visits and ensure documentation meets GMP and cleanroom standards.

Utilize tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project to manage daily project documentation.

Participate in quality, safety, and commissioning activities as needed.

1–3 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Assistant PM in commercial, industrial, or life science construction.

~ Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

~ Exposure to GMP, pharmaceutical, or cleanroom construction is a plus, but not required.

~ Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management platforms preferred.
