Location : Northern Indiana - Marshall, Kosciusko, St. Joseph, Fulton, Starke, LaPorte, Lafayette regions

Industry : Commercial Banking / Agriculture Lending

Compensation : $70,000-105,000 (based on experience)

Travel : Regular in-region travel required; rural / outdoor calling and occasional overnight trips

A well-established community bank in Northern Indiana is seeking an experienced Agricultural Business Banker to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a skilled lender with strong ag knowledge and a passion for building meaningful, long-term partnerships with farmers and farm operators.

About the Opportunity :

You'll take over an existing portfolio of $15-25MM in ag / farm relationships, while also driving new business development throughout the assigned rural region. This is a high-touch, relationship-driven role focused on both retention and outreach - providing real value to agricultural clients and communities.

What You'll Do :

• Manage and grow a portfolio of agricultural loans and banking relationships
• Conduct in-person farm visits and rural outreach to develop new business
• Analyze credit, approve loans within limits, and recommend credit actions
• Provide tailored financial solutions, including cash management and other bank services
• Ensure compliance with internal lending policies and applicable regulations
• Maintain thorough documentation and conduct regular financial reviews
