Job Title : Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will perform preventative maintenance as well as electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs to production and mechanical equipment, machinery, and components.

Responsibilities

• Use blueprints, schematics, small / power tools, and electronic test equipment to perform a variety of maintenance tasks.
• Determine causes of operating problems in areas such as plumbing, electrical systems / components, HVAC, carpentry, electrical fixtures / switches / power sources, and mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic industrial equipment.
• Perform basic preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment such as motors, conveyors, pumps, paint equipment, material handling equipment, gearboxes, overhead cranes, and other mechanical components.
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting, wiring, and repairs on equipment ranging from single-phase 240v to 3-phase 480v.
• Tack weld (stick or MIG) for minor repairs as needed.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair PLCs, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), AMUs, CPUs, etc.

Work Environment

Openings are available on both shifts : the standard shift is four 10-hour days, occasionally extending to five days. First shift runs from 6 am to 4 : 30 pm and second shift from 5 pm to 3 : 30 am, with potential for extended hours during busy seasons. The production environment may expose you to high and low temperatures and loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant. Candidates should be willing to work at heights and may need to cover maintenance beyond normal hours, including weekends and holidays based on equipment downtimes.

This is a Permanent position based out of NA, Iowa.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $70000.00 / yr.
