About The Position

Job Title : Interventional Radiology Technician

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : Interventional Radiology

Duration : 20 weeks

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour

Hours per Shift : 07 : 30 - 18 : 00

Experience : Minimum of 1 year of vascular experience required; Neuro experience preferred, first-timers accepted.

License : State license required; FL license preferred.

Certifications : BLS, ARRT certification required.

Must-Have :

• PACS, Contrast, and Biopsies skills required.
• Experience with Stents, Ablations, Angioplasty, Angiograms, Nephogram, Kyphoplasty, and Peripheral studies.
• IR experience required; Cerner EMR preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions accepted for medical or religious reasons).

Description :

This position is for an Interventional Radiology Technician.

The daily caseload per technician ranges from 20 to 30 cases.

On-call requirements include 8-10 call days per month, with one Saturday work each month.

Call requires a 30-minute response time to arrive at the facility.

There are on-call sleeping rooms available.

Clinicians may float within scope to meet facility needs.

The facility features 4 procedure rooms, with advanced imaging equipment for a variety of cases, including stroke intervention and oncology procedures.

In addition to primary responsibilities, the role requires supporting interdisciplinary teams.

Candidates should have experience with a range of patient age groups, including neonates, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

The position may include performing special procedures and utilizing advanced equipment.

The environment is smoke-free.
