Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician

Job Details :

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals (radioactive drugs) to patients for diagnostic imaging or treatment

Operate specialized equipment to create images showing how organs and tissues are functioning

Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding and comfort

Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed for both patients and staff

Maintain and monitor specialized nuclear medicine equipment

Document all procedures and processes accurately

Collaborate with physicians to provide diagnostic data for patient care

Support research initiatives with crucial imaging data

2 years of Nuclear Medical Technician experience required

Cardiology experience required

BLS certification preferred

NMTCB certification required

No on-call responsibilities

No weekend requirements
