Commercial Operations Reconciliation Specialist

As a Commercial Operations Reconciliation Specialist, you will provide accounting control oversight over client's custodial accounts at Citizens. You will ensure financial integrity and prepare all custodial account reconciliations in a timely manner, ensuring they are consistent with corporate policies and regulations. Additionally, you will coordinate the onboarding of new account recons, partnering with Sales, Product and clients to ensure requirements are confirmed and met. Primary responsibilities include oversight of daily / monthly account reconciliations related to client's accounts, collaborate across multiple teams to identify discrepancies, work directly with internal partners and external partners to resolve discrepancies, escalate reconciliation issues timely, ensure that all account reconciliations are prepared in a timely manner and are consistent with bank polices and regulations, collaborate with Product, Sales and Operations to onboard new clients, and identify and drive process improvements as the service is expanded to new clients. Qualifications, education, certifications, and / or other professional credentials include 5 years relevant reconciliation experience, strong working knowledge of treasury solutions services, especially reciprocal deposits, proven ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced environment, intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access & PowerPoint), strong quantitative, analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills, strong customer service skills, and bachelor's degree in accounting. Hours & work schedule include 40 hours per week, flexible between 8 : 30am-6pm, hybrid : 4 days in office; 1 remote. The salary range for this position is $67,000 - $90,000 per year. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
