About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

Experience : Minimum 2 years recent respiratory experience including critical care with pediatrics

License : CRT or RRT certification

Certifications : Active BLS, NRP, and PALS

Must-Have :

• Experience with EKGs
• Experience with EPIC charting

Description :

Provides respiratory therapies for all ages, including newborn to geriatric patients.

Responsible for mechanical ventilator management.

Conducts arterial blood gas draws and analysis.

Performs emergent airway management.

Delivers medication via nebulizer.

Administers EKGs and other diagnostics.

Utilizes adult ventilator management equipment.

Conducts blood gas acquisition and analysis.

Experience with non-invasive ventilation.

Performs bedside spirometry.

Provides aerosol therapy.

Possesses computer skills for Meditech and supply management systems.

Expected to float into all areas of the facility to complete assigned duties.

Dress code includes scrubs, which are not provided.
