Role Summary / Purpose : Client Marketing Manager American Eagle & Aerie (AEO) will be a key contributor within the lifecycle marketing team, responsible for managing assigned campaigns and initiatives supporting AEO In-Brand & World Lifecycle Marketing programs. This role entails leading tactical marketing initiatives, including management of card carrier materials, statement marketing, terms & conditions updates, bonus loader file administration and enabling Spanish Marketing, while ensuring seamless integration and execution across all consumer touchpoints. This individual will oversee ongoing ORB Tollgates, partner closely with internal stakeholders to maintain AEO's presence inside Marketplace and collaborate extensively with Synchrony Analytics and the AEO Loyalty & Credit teams to meet business objectives around cardholder activation, engagement, and usage.
Essential Responsibilities
Lead the lifecycle execution, and optimization of assigned marketing campaigns across all key channels, including EM, DM, card carriers, statements, digital, and other consumer touchpoints, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
Assist in the management and oversight of card carrier content development, updates, distribution, and compliance, ensuring timely and accurate communication to cardholders.
Partner with other CMM on development of statement marketing strategies, including creative development, compliance workflow, and asset rollouts on a monthly basis.
Coordinate and support the regular ORB compliance tollgate reviews, ensuring all lifecycle marketing campaigns and initiatives meet established governance standards.
Administer bonus loader file updates to ensure accurate and timely posting of incremental points / rewards to cardholder accounts; coordinate across loyalty and analytics teams to maintain data integrity and operational efficiency.
Drive management, review, and execution of all Terms & Conditions documentation, ensuring legal and compliance requirements are met, fully approved, and integrated into campaign materials and cardholder communications.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing Centers of Excellence (COEs), Credit, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to guarantee flawless campaign delivery and risk mitigation.
Maintain and grow American Eagle's brand presence within Marketplace by driving marketing initiatives, working with internal partners, and ensuring consistency across all client-facing platforms.
Participate in management of marketing budget, tracking spend against plan.
Partner with other CMM's to enable Spanish Marketing across lifecycle campaigns.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related field; alternatively, high school diploma with 3+ years of relevant marketing experience.
Minimum 3 years marketing experience with demonstrated expertise specifically in campaign management.
Proven track record managing data file posting / transfer processes.
Experience conducting ORB or similar legal / compliance related reviews.
General understanding of card carrier materials and statement marketing campaigns end-to-end.
Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously across cross-functional teams.
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to thrive in a matrixed environment and influence without direct authority.
