Responsibilities Position is in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit caring for high-risk OB and a culturally diverse patient population RNs circulate for cesarean sections Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts (18 : 00-06 : 30) Every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities RNs may be required to float between like units within the hospital or to affiliated facilities nearby Uses Epic EMR system; prior experience required Scrub color is any solid color, typically Royal Blue or Navy Duties include caring for high-risk obstetric patients, assisting in cesarean sections, and supporting a diverse patient population Expect to float to sister facilities or between units within the hospital as needed All requested time off must be declared at time of application Travelers may be expected to work two out of three major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year First-time travelers are welcome to apply Two supervisory references required for consideration Free parking is provided initially with assigned parking during orientation Required onboarding modules must be completed pre-start Local candidates are accepted at a lower rate Requirements Active CA RN license required at time of consideration Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, and NRP Epic EMR experience required Must provide at least two supervisory references covering one year of employment within the specialty Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for travel rate Former permanent staff must have a minimum three-month separation before returning as a traveler Pending CA license not accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-632105.
