Join us for an exciting Anesthesiology locum tenens opportunity at a hospital in Troy, NY. This role involves providing anesthesia care and supervising CRNAs in a dynamic hospital-based setting, with a focus on a variety of cases including orthopedics, urology, and ophthalmology. The schedule includes night call shifts and weekend beeper call, making this an engaging opportunity for those with flexible availability. Key Details

  • Setting : Hospital
  • Start Date : Full-time starting December 2025
  • Schedule : Night call 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM; Weekend beeper call 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 AM
  • Patient Population : Geriatric, Adults, Pediatrics for dental and eyes
  • Location : Troy, NY
  • Stipends : Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates

    • Job Responsibilities

  • Perform spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia
  • Supervise CRNAs with a 1 : 3 / 4 ratio
  • Manage a mix of own cases and supervised cases

    • Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Anesthesiology
  • Active New York State License
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

    • Working Hours

  • Night call : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM
  • Weekend call : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 AM

    • Skills

  • Proficiency with Epic EMR
  • Experience with orthopedic, urology, endoscopy, and ophthalmology cases
  • Strong supervisory and leadership abilities with CRNAs
