Environmental Services Supervisor
As an Environmental Services Supervisor, you will assist with the overall management of the EVS / housekeeping Department.
Essential duties and responsibilities include :
- Maintaining an environment that is in sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition in accordance with the organizations' defined program standards.
- Ensuring that competency in the position is maintained by participating in the programs policies and procedures.
- Ensuring training of staff on scheduled responsibilities.
- Issuing and facilitating department training documentation for all associates.
- Reviewing and disbursing work orders on a daily basis based on the communities' schedule.
- Monitoring flow and quality of work to assure timely completion of workload and adherence to communities' standards and regulations.
- Assisting with inspections and evaluating the physical condition of the community.
- Attending regular staff meetings and communicating with members of other departments to coordinate housekeeping activities.
- Assisting in maintaining the department in an "inspection ready" state at all times.
- Maintaining excellent relations with residents, clients, and all community departments.
- Carrying out major projects, assuring that staff perform their duties and have supplies available to perform such tasks.
- Conducting regular inventory of housekeeping supplies.
- Maintaining appropriate security for all department-owned property, supplies, and operating funds.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include :
