Your Role :

As a Home Health Aide, you will be at the heart of our clients' care, providing essential support that makes a real difference in their lives. Here’s what you’ll be doing :

• Personal Care : Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and daily living activities, including bathing, oral care, and dressing.
• Vital Signs : Measure and record vital signs, report any deviations, and help with medication management under nurse supervision.
• Mobility Assistance : Aid clients with mobility tasks, such as transferring to and from beds and chairs, and assist with walking aids.
• Light Housekeeping : Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and dishwashing, to maintain a clean living environment.
• Communication : Effectively communicate with clients, families, and healthcare team members while keeping accurate records of care.
• Professionalism : Adhere to infection control practices, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.

What We’re Looking For :

To thrive in this role, you should meet the following qualifications :

Certification : You must be a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) in the state of NY .

Transportation : Reliable transportation is essential.

Work Eligibility : Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Language Skills : Fluent in English (able to speak and understand).

Confidentiality : Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient confidentiality.

Cooking & Housekeeping : Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.

Training : Completion of a New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalent.

Literacy : Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills.

Age : Must be at least 18 years old.
