Description :

This position functions within the Utilization Review Department.

Maintains skill sets, annual competencies, certifications, and participates in educational programs as assigned.

Completes all mandatory training.

Attends and participates in staff meetings.

Adheres to infection control policy and procedures.

Maintains a clean and safe working environment.

Reports any defective or missing equipment and safety hazards.

Refers unresolved problems with patients or coworkers to the department manager.

Addresses employee concerns in alignment with Human Resources Policy.

Provides clinical services, working with providers and clinic staff to ensure quality care.

Ensures efficient utilization of resources and compliance with standards.

Provides leadership to the clinic staff ensuring efficient operation of all clinic aspects.

Maintains medication inventory and supplies not in the Warehouse PAR system.

Ensures quality control checks are done with Point of Care tests.

Documents all care and services provided in a clear and timely manner.

Oversees the opening and closing of provider clinics.

Assists providers and other staff as needed, anticipating their needs for efficient patient care.

Communicates effectively with other departments to be a reliable resource for patients and staff.

Knowledge Required :

Nursing process and application in a working environment.

Customer service principles.

Safety and infection control principles.

Skills Required :

Completing assessments and specimen collection.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Ability to :

Multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands :
