Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

What we are looking for

NextCare Urgent Care is looking for a Part-time energetic and enthusiastic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide medical care to urgent care patients.

Location

To join our Provider team in Golden, CO at our location on Cross Streets : On Golden Rd., south of 16th Ave.

The hours for this facility are 8 : 00AM to 8 : 00PM Monday – Friday and 9 : 00AM to 4 : 00PM Saturday and Sunday. In most cases the work schedule will require working 12 hour shifts, rotating weekends and occasional holidays.

Responsibilities

The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the following :

• Evaluating and treating patients in accordance with clinical best practices for an urgent care and / or occupational health setting.
• Providing compassionate and respectful patient care consistent with NextCare services, values and mission statement.
• Treating all patients who present to the clinic appropriately and discuss the treatment plan with the patient ensuring there is a clear understanding of the next steps.
• Documenting care utilizing the electronic documentation system.
• Taking personal responsibility for appropriately coding and billing for care rendered.
• Delivering exemplary care and act in a legal and ethical manner.
• Maintaining clinical productivity consistent with peers and industry standards for a similar setting.
• Follow up on patient care as indicated.
