Job Details

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on facility systems (including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, electrical, mechanical, and structural components)

Troubleshoot and repair production support equipment, building utilities, and infrastructure issues in a timely and safe manner.

Respond to work orders and maintenance requests using the company’s CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

Assist in maintaining compressed air, vacuum, water, and power distribution systems.

Support facility modifications, installations, and small construction projects as needed.

Perform equipment and facility safety checks, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

Monitor and maintain facility cleanliness and organization, including mechanical rooms, maintenance areas, and storage spaces.

Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal departments to coordinate facility-related work and inspections.

Track and report maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and equipment condition.

Participate in emergency response, after-hours maintenance, and on-call rotations, as required. Overtime opportunities will be available on occasion.

Follow established lockout / tagout (LOTO), confined space, and hazard communication procedures.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Trade certification and 5 years of experience in an industrial setting OR 8 years of progressive experience in a regulated production / operations facility

Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or commercial facility environment preferred.

Skills and Competencies

Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.

Familiarity with CMMS systems, maintenance documentation, and work order tracking.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.

Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safe work practices, and proper use of PPE.

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile work order systems.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks.

Work Hours : 8 : 30am - 5 : 00 pm
