Infusion RN for outpatient clinic. 20 hours orientation (more if needed). Caribbean Blue / Teal scrubs, not provided. 1st time traveler OK.

2 years' experience REQUIRED, 3 preferred. No on call. Weekends, float required.

Certifications REQUIRED : ONS Chemo cert; BLS (AHA only, no HeartCode)

Experience REQUIRED : Infusion Center; Outpatient Oncology; Administration of chemotherapy; Body fluid handling post Chemotherapy; Continuous Infusion of chemotherapy; IV push administration of chemotherapy; Management / disposal cytotoxic spills; Monitor chemotherapy; Oral Administration of chemotherapy; Recognize / communicate abnormal lab values; Accessing ports; Care and management of ports; Central line blood draw; Central Line / Implanted Line Care; Infusion pump management; Intravenous hydration / multivitamins; PICC line care; Starting IVs; Antiemetic; Antitumor; Antibiotic; Corticosteroids; Neupogen; Hormonal therapy; Acute Tumor Lysis Syndrome (ATLS); Anaphylaxis; Extravasation injury; Hemorrhage; Sepsis; Spinal Cord Compression;Neutropenic precautions; Phlebotomy skills; Patient / Family education and support; Alteration in skin and mucous membranes; Altered mental status; Constipation / diarrhea; Dysphagia; Edema; Nausea / vomiting; Neuropathy
