Summary and Objective : The Accounting Manager will assist the Controller with the month end close process, with the day-to-day financial operations of their brands, and with oversight of the Staff Accountants. The Accounting Manager has overall responsibility for the integrity of the general ledger, general accounting functions and the maintenance of appropriate controls for their IFC (Industrial Flow Control) brands.

Essential Functions

• Responsibility for integrity of the general ledger and the maintenance of appropriate controls.
• Responsibility for the monthly close process and monthly reconciliations of balance sheet and P&L accounts for multiple IFC brands across multiple ERPs.
• Work closely with FP&A in preparation of monthly management reporting.
• Supervise and mentor Staff Accountants.
• Provides request and support to external auditors, as required.
• Provide professional financial and accounting support to operational initiatives.
• Responsible for sales and use tax and property tax, including coordination of information sharing with external tax provider.
• Responsible for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to management for multiple IFC brands.
• Provide support for special ad-hoc projects and analytics as required.
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

Occasional travel is expected for this position.
