Complete Logistical Services is excited to announce a job opening for a Material Handler at our oil and gas Warehouse in Morgan City, LA. This position is pivotal to our operations, ensuring efficient handling and movement of materials within the warehouse environment. The Material Handler is responsible for loading, unloading, storing, and distributing materials, while maintaining rigorous safety and inventory accuracy standards.

This role involves daily on-site work at the warehouse and is not a remote job. The normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with the potential need for overtime. The role also includes being part of an on-call rotation, covering nights, weekends, and holidays when required. Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently load, unload, move, and store material within the warehouse.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, including tracking and reporting discrepancies.
• Ensure an organized workspace by picking, packing, and preparing inventory, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Examine contents and compare them with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify the accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments.
• Properly create and maintain all shipping data to ensure accurate records.
• Select appropriate shipping methods based on the nature of the items and delivery requirements.
• Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Use work devices, such as hand trucks and sorting bins, to deliver or route materials to various departments.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as required to support organizational objectives.
