Seeking a Mechanic Assistant to work at a Machine shop in east Broken Arrow. Must have reliable transportation and be dependable. Automotive experience, preferred. This role is responsible for repairs and maintenance of product line equipment according to company’s quality and safety standards.

Shift :   1st, 5am-2pm, Mon-Fri, rotating Saturdays

Pay :   $16-$19 per hour, DOE

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Assists lead mechanic to detect and diagnose faults in engines and parts.
• Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and check parts.
• Repair and replace worn and defective parts and reassemble mechanical components.
• Refer to service manuals as needed.
• Conducts preventative maintenance and lubrication according to lead mechanic’s instructions.
