Our client is seeking a Hydrologic & Hydraulic (H&H) Engineer to join a fast-growing engineering firm that's reshaping the flood solutions space nationwide. Work Setting : Hybrid-Remote
Responsibilities :
- Support permitting efforts for water resource and floodplain projects.
- Lead FEMA (C)LOMR / MT-2 regulatory submissions and documentation.
- Perform flood risk assessments, drainage studies, and mitigation planning.
- Design and evaluate stormwater systems, culverts, and detention basins.
- Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and review modeling results.
- Collaborate across disciplines, clients, and agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for stormwater, riverine, and floodplain systems.
Qualifications :
PE license preferred.MT-2 experience required.5+ years of H&H engineering experience.Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.Proficiency in HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ICPR, Civil 3D, GIS.Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.Bachelor's or Master's in Civil or Water Resources Engineering.Project management experience and interest in mentoring junior engineers.Experience with FEMA LOMR / MT-2 floodplain mapping and stormwater design.Benefits & Perks :
