Job descriptionPE license preferred. MT-2 experience required. 5+ years of H&H engineering experience. Ability to manage multiple projects effectively. Proficiency in HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ICPR, Civil 3D, GIS. Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. Bachelor's or Master's in Civil or Water Resources Engineering. Project management experience and interest in mentoring junior engineers. Experience with FEMA LOMR / MT-2 floodplain mapping and stormwater design. Our client is seeking a Hydrologic & Hydraulic (H&H) Engineer to join a fast-growing engineering firm that's reshaping the flood solutions space nationwide. Work Setting : Hybrid-Remote
Responsibilities :
- Support permitting efforts for water resource and floodplain projects.
- Lead FEMA (C)LOMR / MT-2 regulatory submissions and documentation.
- Perform flood risk assessments, drainage studies, and mitigation planning.
- Design and evaluate stormwater systems, culverts, and detention basins.
- Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and review modeling results.
- Collaborate across disciplines, clients, and agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for stormwater, riverine, and floodplain systems.
