Engineer - Test Execution Core

Job Description

Tech Mahindra Network Services has an opening for an Engineer - Test Execution Core in Philadelphia, PA or Redmond/Seattle WA. Experience with Spirent Landslide, Keysight / Ixia LoadCore or similar tools.

• Testing Tools: Spirent Landslide, Keysight / Ixia Loadcore
• Operating System: Linux, Solaris, Windows
• Scope, define and design solution offerings; driving end-to-end technical solutions in pre-sales engagements supporting Customer Unit and Engagement Practices organizations.
• Analyze customer technology, define business requirements and participate in risk analysis.
• Work with technical team on preparing test strategy, test plan and test cases for LTE-EPC and VoLTE solution.
• Develop test scripts using third party tools, execute test scenarios and update test results in Test management system.
• Define feature requirements for CORE and RAN orchestration functions to support Comcast use cases and architecture requirements defined on Service Based Architecture.
• Engages with multiple vendor personnel regarding new services and features required of 5G NFs on a Centralized and Edge Data centers.

Job Requirements

• Strong knowledge in LTE/UMTS/GPRS with basic IMS knowledge is desired. 5 yrs experience working in wireless telecommunications.
• Experience with Telco Core networks, Architecture, Protocols and Interfaces
• Good understanding of Wireless Operator’s end-end Network
• Experience with LTE core system interfaces and protocols such as S1-MME, S1-U, S6a, S11, S5/S8, Rx, NAS, S1-AP, RRC, GTPv2c, GTP-U, SGs-AP is desired
• Working Knowledge in any of UMTS/GPRS Protocols such as NBAP, RNSAP, RANAP, BSSAP+ and GTP is preferred
• Must have good working knowledge on VoIP, SIP & IMS.
• Strong Understanding of IMS network architecture and various interfaces like Mw, Mr, Mx, Sh, ISC etc.
• Must have good hands on experience on various end to end call scenarios, roaming cases and supplementary service features in IMS network.
• Good hands on experience on debugging and troubleshooting of P/I/S-CSCF servers in IMS core network.
• Excellent Understanding of Rel 6/ Rel 7/ Rel 8/Rel 9 3GPP standards
• Expertise in creating test plans for system level, subsystem level and feature level testing
• Understanding of Software testing Life cycle
• Good Knowledge in TCP/UDP, IP protocols and understanding of basic OSI model
