Public Staff Accountant

Our client, an established manufacturing company with a corporate office in Florham Park, is growing their financial operations and looking to hire a Public Staff Accountant !

Salary / Hourly Rate :

$86k - $92k

Position Overview :

The Public Staff Accountant will join a team of 4 Accountants and be primarily responsible for the accounts payable, journal entries, and month-end assistance. This position will report directly to the Controller and has the potential for advancement in the year ahead.

Responsibilities of the Public Staff Accountant :

• The Public Staff Accountant will handle the full-cycle accounting.
• Manage all monthly reporting for AP & AR.
• Process journal entries to the general ledger.
• Assist in the month-end and quarter-end close.
• Some fixed assets work.
