The Role

Directs and coordinates cycle counting of organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate employees.

What you will be responsible for :

• Responsible for work procedures, prepare work schedules and expedite workflow within the Receiving Department.
• Manage policy deployment in the areas of Lean Manufacturing techniques, quality, cost reduction, complete and on-time delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations, visual controls and plant performance measures.
• Manage the activities of the department, under the direction of the Materials Manager and / or designee follow established procedures and approved processes.
• Creation and maintain a Cycle count methodology to ensure all warehouse inventories are counted according to schedule. based on part classifications set by Kelvion.

Methodology to include :

Develop KPIs for Cycle counts.

A Parts are counted 8 times a month

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS (knowledge, skills, and abilities)

COMPUTER SKILLS

Personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
