We are seeking an Energy Assessor to join our growing team in New Jersey. In this role, youll perform insulation and air sealing work that improves energy efficiency, comfort, and safety in homes. The ideal candidate brings construction or renovation experience, enjoys hands-on work, and takes pride in making a measurable difference for homeowners and the community.

Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED13 years of construction or renovation experienceTraining in weatherization / energy efficiency principles6 months to 1 year of weatherization experience (air sealing & insulation preferred)BPI Certification (Required)Skills & Competencies :
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamClear, effective communication skills (technical and non-technical)Comfortable using handheld data devices and learning new technologyFlexibility to work evenings and weekends as neededPhysical & Other Requirements :
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and stand for long periodsCapable of lifting and carrying insulation materials / equipmentGood vision (distance, peripheral, depth perception, ability to adjust focus)Valid drivers license with at least three (3) years of a clean driving recordMust successfully complete a background check and drug screeningKey Responsibilities
Install home energy conservation measures (insulation, air sealing, weather stripping)Prepare attics for insulation (baffles, flooring, damming, attic rulers)Operate hand and power tools to complete installationsSafely operate light and moderately heavy construction equipmentSafety & Compliance :
Follow all safety guidelines and company protocolsPerform routine equipment maintenanceMaintain clean and organized job sitesOperations & Reporting :
Stock and check the service truck daily for required materialsComplete job sheets, inspection checklists, and related paperworkCommunicate status updates to management and team leadersDrive and operate company service vehicles (light to medium-duty trucks)Perform additional related tasks as needed to support successful project completion
