Columbus, Ohio client is seeking a Physical Security Systems Analyst for a contract role.
Qualifications :
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Electronics, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of experience in physical security systems, including access control and video surveillance.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade security platforms such as Victor VMS and CCure 9000.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
System Implementation & Upgrades Assist in the deployment and replacement of end-of-life security equipment including cameras, access control systems, and related hardware.Technical Support & Troubleshooting Respond to service requests and resolve issues related to physical security systems to ensure optimal uptime and performance.System Standards & Documentation Maintain and update system standards, documentation, and configuration records to align with industry best practices.Technology Evaluation & Testing Support testing and evaluation of new physical security technologies, including proof-of-concept initiatives.System Audits & Labeling Conduct equipment audits and ensure proper labeling and documentation of all physical security assets.Reporting & Metrics Contribute to reporting on system health, project status, and service activities.Cross-Team Collaboration Work closely with internal teams to support project execution and system alignment.Security Operations Center Support Assist in optimizing alarm configurations and system responsiveness to reduce false alerts and improve operational efficiency.Vendor Coordination Liaise with vendors and manufacturers for support, warranty claims, and training.Continuous Improvement Develop quick reference guides and training materials to support internal teams and improve system usability.Reference : 1041291
